Pacific's 28/78 New Music Ensemble is proud to present their second annual New Music Festival in collaboration with Pacific's Conservatory of Music and featuring commissions by Yaz Lancaster and Kevin Swenson'19. The festival, Jan. 28 -  Feb. 1, continues Pacific's great musical legacy through education and the performance of new and revolutionary musical works.

"Move" - Pacific Heavy Ensemble
A set curated by Peter Altamura ‘20 and designed to make you move.

January 29, 7:30 pm, DeRosa University Center
"Sing" - 28/78 New Music Ensemble and Pacific Stocktones
A collaborative concert that kicks off the second annual 28/78 New Music Festival. Includes a commission by Kevin Swenson '19.

January 31, 7:30 pm, Conservatory Recital Hall
"Hear" - 28/78 New Music Ensemble
Solo and small ensemble performances of works by various contemporary composers.

February 1, 5 pm, DeRosa University Center
"See" - 28/78 New Music Ensemble
Explore a convergence of the visual and aural. Featuring dancers from University of California, Santa Barbara, and works of visual artists from Pacific’s Media X. Premiere by New York-based composer Yaz Lancaster.
