California Initiative Review Forum 2018

Wednesday, October 24 at 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Pacific McGeorge School of Law, Lecture Hall
3200 Fifth Ave., Sacramento, CA

California Initiative Review Forum for the Nov. 6, 2018 Ballot. The Forum is free and open to the community and provides a valuable opportunity to hear about each initiative and gain a better understanding of the nuances of the proposed laws.

Bring your ballot and learn about the 11 initiatives BEFORE you vote!

The California Initiative Review (CIR) "Initiatives at a Glance" 2018 publication is available online now (link) and will be available at this event.

For those unable to attend, the event will be live streamed for online viewing.

On election day, your voice matters. Every two years, voters must decide on several statewide ballot measures covering a range of issues. To aid the community in understanding the proposed laws, the students in the California Initiative Seminar present a nonpartisan, objective analysis of each of the ballot measures at the California Initiative Forum.

In addition to their Forum presentations, student authors each write a detailed analysis of one initiative, and those summaries are compiled in the California Initiative Review (CIR).

This event is sponsored by the McGeorge Capital Center for Law & Policy. Media services provided by Cogent Legal.
