Center for Teaching and Learning
William Knox Holt Memorial Library, 2nd Floor, Room 278

Do you use the fair use checklist to determine whether your use of copyrighted materials qualifies as fair use?

Join us to view a webinar by Steve McDonald, General Counsel at Rhode Island School of Design, that explains the doctrine of fair use as it applies to research and publishing. McDonald describes the four fair use factors and provides examples of their application in recent court cases.

The program will be introduced and additional materials will be provided by Jack Schroeder, Academic Support Librarian.
