Breaking up high-stakes exams into smaller frequent assessments and/or offering students choices in how they demonstrate their knowledge are two evidence-based instructional practices that reduce academic dishonesty while increasing comprehension and retention of course content. How else might we revise our assessments to better support learning amid new global realities?

• Are you thinking about redesigning an assessment you've used in the past to optimize it for the online environment?
• Would you like to realign an assessment with your current course outcomes and with skills that students will need in the future?
• Would you like to gather and share ideas around alternative forms of assessment with colleagues?

Bring an assessment you've used in the past, an assessment-in-progress, or an idea for an assessment that you would like to workshop with colleagues. This will be an opportunity to reimagine assessment possibilities within the context of your class, remote teaching and learning, and your students' futures.
