Book Club: White Fragility

Thursday, March 5 at 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

Center for Teaching and Learning
William Knox Holt Memorial Library, 2nd Floor, Room 278

  • Are you curious about what white fragility is, and how it shows up in our classrooms?
  • Have you considered how our awareness of white fragility can create space for all students to flourish?
  • Would you like to explore concrete tools that you can use to productively engage cross-racial dialogue and promote racial equity at Pacific?

Through candid and compassionate conversation around Robin DiAngelos’s White Fragility, we will explore the meaning, history, and impacts of white fragility, how it contributes to inequity in our classrooms, and how our awareness of it can help us cultivate more inclusive learning environments at Pacific.

Pacific faculty and staff who RSVP will receive a free copy of the book.
