The family of Sally Miller, emerita professor of history, invite friends, family, colleagues and former students to share in a celebration of life. Miller passed away Feb. 22, 2019, at age 81.  She taught history at University of the Pacific for 32 years from 1967 to 1999. The first female faculty member in the social sciences at Pacific, Miller was a pioneering advocate for LGBT rights in San Joaquin County and published extensively on women's history, feminism, and socialism. She received the Distinguished Faculty Award in 1976 in recognition of her teaching and scholarship.
