Celebration of Life for former McGeorge Professor Jed "Skip" Olaf Scully

Members of the university community are invited to the celebration of life for former McGeorge School of Law Professor Jed “Skip” Scully. He passed away Dec. 21, 2019, at the age of 88.
Scully joined the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law as a professor in 1979. He served as chair of the Academic Council at Pacific and was one of the founders of Sacramento’s Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court. Upon his retirement from teaching in 2008, Scully became an active member of the Kennedy American Inn of Court and a member of the executive committee of Pacific’s Emeriti Society.
Scully, a well-respected attorney and educator, remained involved in the Sacramento legal community until his passing.
He is survived by his wife of more than 40 years, Glendalee “Glee” Scully, their children Patrick, Andrew, Suzanne, Greg, Gavin, Sean and Zachary, as well as 10 grandchildren (with two more to be born in 2020). He was preceded in death by his son Michael.
