Wednesday, January 23 at 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Center for Teaching and Learning
William Knox Holt Memorial Library, 2nd Floor, Room 230

Do you know that copyright law makes a distinction between materials you may use in face-to-face teaching and distance teaching?

Join us to view a recorded webinar by Steve McDonald, General Counsel at Rhode Island School of Design, that explains the basics of copyright law and the use of copyrighted materials in classroom and online teaching.

Topics include the performance and display of films and other creative works and the creation and distribution of classroom handouts.

The program will be introduced and additional materials will be provided by Jack Schroeder, Academic Support Librarian.
