Engineering & Computer Science Legacy Reception/Co-Op Celebration
Saturday, October 12 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Khoury Hall Lawn, "The Rock"
Please joins us in celebrating 50 years of Cooperative Education (CO-OP) at University of the Pacific!
In 1969, the Dean of the School of Engineering and Computer Science (SOECS), Robert L. Heyborne, launched the CO-OP program at Pacific. To this day, CO-OP continues to be the crown jewel of the curriculum and one of our biggest recruitment tools.
At this legacy reception, retired faculty member and former CO-OP Director Gary Martin will be joined by other emeritus faculty, including Jim Morgali, Bob Hamernik, Louise Stark, and others, to share in your favorite CO-OP memories together.
Join us and your fellow SOECS alumni to celebrate 50 years of CO-OP, and learn about an exciting time capsule project the SOECS class of 2020 will be working on.
Please feel welcome to bring your CO-OP pictures, stories, and mementos to include in the time capsule project. We hope you will be part of this celebration.
