About this Event
William Knox Holt Memorial Library, 2nd Floor, Room 278
“Relationships are the beating heart of the undergraduate experience.”
Drawing on decades of data and hundreds of interviews with students, faculty, and staff from 29 college campuses, the authors make a compelling case for building and nurturing relationships with students, in every campus space and at every level of the institution.
We invite faculty and staff to join us in exploring how we can spotlight and strengthen this simple yet transformative aspect of our campus culture to foster equitable student success at Pacific.
Randy Bass, COP ‘81, member of the Pacific Board of Regents, and Vice President and Professor of English at Georgetown University, has generously donated funds to support this book club.
We’re offering two tracks—one in-person, and one online--to engage with the book club. RSVP to join the discussion, and we’ll reach out to get a book to you.
