Getting Hired in a Pandemic — University Recruiters Discuss the new Recruiting Environment

Friday, May 29 at 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Virtual Event

The Eberhardt School of Business and Economics Department in the College of the Pacific continues the summer Tiger2Tiger virtual event series on May 28 with a panel of university recruiters whose companies continue to hire during the pandemic. The panelists, from Bloomberg, Cepheid and Deloitte, represent diverse industries that recruit college talent across multiple colleges and majors including business, economics and engineering, as well as social and life sciences. Each employer is hosting summer internship programs and will bring on new college hires this summer or later in the fall.

Join us to learn how major corporations are responding and adapting their hiring and onboarding processes. We’ll ask our panelists to share any insights they have for the upcoming fall recruiting season to help us better understand how students and new graduates can prepare and succeed in a recruiting process that may be entirely virtual for the foreseeable future.

Our panel includes Lindsay Lovett, ESB ’04 (Cepheid), Brittany Rodriguez (Bloomberg) and Susan Te, ESB ’15 (Deloitte). This event will include a moderated Q&A led by Margaret Roberts, director of the Eberhardt Career Management Center, and ample time for an open discussion with Zoom participants.
