Immediate Implant Placement for General Dentists: Hands-on Course

A technique course emphasizing the successful surgical management of immediate implant placement in general practice.
The course will provide clinical information in all phases of immediate implant placement: rational, case selection, indications, and technique. Bone grafting, soft tissue management and provisional fabrication will be discussed in great detail. Immediate implant in both anterior and posterior sites will be presented.

David Ehsan, MD, DDS, is a graduate of Dugoni School of Dentistry and University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is a licensed physician/surgeon and dentist. He is dual board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental anesthesiology. He is past president of the San Francisco Dental Society and has lectured throughout the United States. He is an oral maxillofacial and implant surgeon in private practice and the surgical director of San Francisco Implant Institute.
Matthew Young, DDS earned his dental degree at the University of Buffalo, graduating with honors. He completed his General Practice Residency Program at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, where he also severed as an attending clinician. Dr. Young has over fifteen years placing and restoring implants in private practice. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and also served as its Western District President; Board of Trustees; Admissions and Credentials Board; Education Committee Board and Annual Meeting Program Chair. Dr. Young is the founder of the Bay Area Implant Synergy Study Group. He lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and maintains a private practice in Downtown San Francisco.
