International Student Orientation

International Student Orientation is a two-day mandatory program for international students (with F and J visas) that includes sessions on U.S. immigration and culture designed to support these students’ acclimation to life at Pacific and success in the classroom.
Sunday, Aug. 18 is move-in day. International Programs and Services (IPS) staff will be available from 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. in Bechtel International Center to assist students. Lunch and dinner are available in the DeRosa University Center.
Monday, Aug. 19 is check-in day. Students should check-in from 8:30–9:30 a.m. at the Bechtel International Center. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. in Janet Leigh Theatre. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the DeRosa University Center.
A shuttle will be available both days to take students to local shopping centers.
The IPS team looks forward to welcoming students to campus as they begin their college career at University of the Pacific.
