International Teaching Opportunities for Faculty

Thursday, September 26 at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Bechtel International Center
3547 Baxter Walkway, Stockton, CA 95211

NOTE: Two dates above: Wed, 9/25, 3:30 p.m. and Thu, 9/26, noon.

Interested in teaching abroad for a semester or summer or leading a short-term program abroad?  The IPS Education Abroad Office is hosting two information sessions: a chance for you to hear from other faculty who have taught abroad and learn about the new handbook for faculty-led programs.

Chris Goff and Susan Sample will share about their experience with USAC, getting paid to teach in Spain and the UK during their sabbatical and summer breaks. Derek Bradley will talk about the process for creating a new faculty-led program and getting it approved as well as all the support structures now in place to ensure success.

Campus representatives from our partner organizations may also be on hand to answer questions and provide further details on faculty opportunities they offer.
