Millions of Americans are carrying trillions of dollars in student debt, a burden that many experts believe is hobbling the economy. President Biden and Congress are looking at proposals to cancel at least some of that debt, but is it a good idea?
In this month's X-Talks, presented by the College of the Pacific, we will look at the range of proposals for canceling student debt and the possible ramifications—economic and ethical—in doing so. We invite you to come and bring your questions and comments.
School of International Studies Director Bill Herrin, moderator
