Pacific Jazz Festival is an annual 2-day event, October 23-24, for jazz students, musicans and jazz music fans. The Conservatory of Music invites all interested for master classes and livestreamed performances with the conservatory faculty and our renowned guest-artists. 

Jamie Dubberly's Dharma Latin Jazz Sextet, October 24 (live streamed from Pacific campus in Stockton):

Jamie Dubberly's sextet was formed in 2008, released their first award winning CD "Road Warrior" in 2011. Their second album "La Clave del Gumbo" (2015)  was featured on Sirius/XM satellite radio's channel "Real Jazz," as well as the nationally syndicated "Jazz After Hours" on NPR. Several members of the band, including Dubberly, are a part of Grammy-winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra, and are active in the Bay Area's broad and diverse latin music scene.

PJAms are a jazz combo comprised of students pursuing a 3-year Accelerated Bachelor of Music Honors Degree in Jazz Studies at the Conservatory of Music, an opportunity open to five high school graduates who are exceptionally talented and motivated jazz musicians.

  • Streaming access to all festival events for up to 25 people ($1500 value)
  • A personalized 50 min Zoom clinic for your group/ensemble with Pacific Jazz Studies Director Patrick Langham or another one of Pacific's esteemed jazz faculty; To be scheduled by the end of the 2020-21 school year ($800 value)
