This opening keynote address by Academy Award winner Dustin Lance Black kicks off the Western Regional LGBTQIA Conference co-sponsored by UC Merced and University of the Pacific. LGBT activist Black, a writer, director and producer of film and television, penned the 2008 screenplay for the film "Milk", as well as J. Edgar, currently in theaters.
