The Academic Plan calls for us to cross boundaries for academic success. The COACHE Faculty Climate Survey results and unit conversations indicate that we have room for improvement in creating an environment that fosters interdisciplinary work and collaboration.

The goals of these conversations are to understand the barriers to interdisciplinary teaching and scholarship and to begin to prioritize solutions leading to an environment that crosses boundaries. This is the second in a series of conversations. The first one was held on the Stockton campus on February 16 and the next one is on the San Francisco campus on April 7 (1-2 p.m.).

The Provost invites you to join the conversation and share your ideas, challenges and opportunities for supporting interdisciplinarity in teaching and scholarship. Refreshments will be provided.

Please contact Erika Greet at 209.946.2551 or egreet@pacific.edu for more information.

This conversation follows one on the Strategic Enrollment Plan.
