Tuesday, April 11 at 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Janet Leigh Theatre 3601 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95211

Head of Holt-Atherton Special Collections Mike Wurtz will use artistic images from John Muir's journals, letters, drawings and manuscripts that are curated at Pacific to share some of the naturalist's gripping near-death adventures - such as the time he experienced an earthquake in Yosemite Valley. The talk will also cover Muir's use of his masterful observational skills to study, promote and protect our natural places.
