The Country of Impressionists Re-Worked

Tuesday, June 19 at 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Janet Leigh Theatre
3601 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95211

Join Renata Bricka on a visit to the cradle of Impressionism -- the city of Paris and its very popular village at the time, The Montmartre, and the artist’s colony in Giverny, popular destinations of many French and American artists. We will explore the forming of the Impressionist style in art, surprising comparisons and the artist’s use of elements. We will look at photographs of the area today connecting that era to the present.
