Wondering how you can spark student motivation and success on assignments?

You always know why you design or facilitate an activity in a particular way, but students don’t necessarily. Transparent teaching, or clarifying the reasoning behind your approaches and your expectations, has been proven to boost students’ sense of belonging, purpose, and motivation.

In this workshop, we will discuss the components of transparent assignments and you will collaboratively workshop one of your assignments-in-progress to make it even more transparent.

Please have one assignment prompt at any stage of design ready to share and workshop during the session.
