Pacific's Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence, Dr. Elham "Ellie" Sayyad Abdi, will present on the topic of "Learning a New Life: A Migrant Information Literacy Framework" at the School of International Studies  Tuesday World Forum.

Sayyad-Abdi comes to Pacific from Queensland University of Technology in Australia where she taught a number of courses in the field of information science. She is an information researcher with an interest in people’s information experience. She is currently investigating how immigrants use information to learn about their new life. Her talk presents highlights of Australian Research Council project discoveries, including a framework revealed earlier this year.

Sayyad-Abdi will be at Pacific for the full academic year. Please join us in welcoming her to Pacific.
