Our collective voice can powerfully advocate for justice and fairness that leads to transformative change. Our resolve for justice must and will grow stronger as we come together in building a community of peaceful practices.

Join University of the Pacific's Equity Team (representing Intercultural Student Success, the Community Involvement Program and the SUCCESS-TRiO Program) for an online vigil to reflect upon the recent killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.

The event will begin with a vigil open to all students, faculty and staff. It will then proceed to a safe space into which students are invited to bring their reflections, hopes, concerns and fears and engage in dialogue about the impact of these killings on black communities, Pacific students and the country at large.

Please see the Intercultural Student Success (ISS) webpage for an open letter to the community and a video message from Camilo Villalpando, director of ISS.

Details on how to join the vigil will be shared via email.
